1. Accepted payment methods
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Shop Pay, including Shop Pay Installments where eligible
- PayPal

2. Currency
All prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD).
3. When you're charged
Your payment is authorized and charged when you place your order. If an order is cancelled before it ships, the full amount is refunded to your original payment method.
4. Security
Checkout is hosted by Shopify, which is certified PCI DSS Level 1, the highest standard for payment security. All payment data is encrypted. Hovela never sees or stores your full card details.
5. Sales tax
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address, where applicable.
6. Discounts
Bundle, multi-buy and free-gift discounts are applied automatically in your cart and shown at checkout before you pay. Where multiple automatic discounts could apply to the same item, the best one is used.
7. Failed or declined payments
If your payment is declined, please check your card details or try another method. Your bank may also block unusual transactions; contacting them usually resolves this quickly.
8. Fraud prevention
To protect our customers, some orders are reviewed before shipping. We may contact you to verify an order, and we may cancel and refund orders we believe are fraudulent.
